Open Bionics just unveiled Star Wars, Marvel and Disney themed prosthetics for kids

Most prosthetic manufacturers build their products with a certain amount of blandness so their artificial limbs won’t stand out. So much effort is put into making them appear natural that some artificial limbs are so real realistic that they are indistinguishable from a real limb when viewing them at a distance. While most manufacturers take this realistic approach, UK limb maker Open Bionics is going to the opposite extreme, creating brightly colored, kid-friendly prosthetic hands that are branded after popular superheroes and movie characters.
The company unveiled it hand designs this week during the Disney Accelerator Demo Day. Powered by Techstars, the Disney Accelerator program provides funding and resources to technology innovators. During the three-month program, entrepreneurs are provided with $120,000 in capital and receive mentorship from Disney’s executive leadership. At the end of the program, participants then present their inventions and services to a group of investors, fellow entrepreneurs, industry leaders and Disney executives in an annual Demo Day event.
Not only is The Walt Disney Company consulting on the project, it’s also providing a royalty-free
license to Open Bionics, allowing them to use the company’s popular assets –like characters from the
movie Frozen– in their limb design. This allowed Open Bionics to design its prosthetics without having
to pay additional fees for its child-friendly designs. Also providing their expertise were Industrial Light &
Magic’s xLAB division and Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Breaking! Pentagon Admits To Paying $500 Million To Train ISIS Fighters!

The high ranking brass at the Pentagon thought they knew something that every lower enlisted man or woman who ever spent a day in the Middle East did not, that being, that you could “trust” the people in the Middle East.
After spending $500 million last year to train and equip “Syrian Rebels” only to see ALL of them later switch sides, taking their new skills and equipment with them, to fight for ISIS, the Department of Defense has now said they will no longer be training these “moderates” to fight on the side of the West.
No doubt Russia’s recent entrance into the War in Syria played a major role in this decision, as it would no doubt be viewed as if we were also fighting Russia by supporting the very “moderates” that Russia has been making short work of in the past couple of weeks.
It’s a shame that the U.S.’s fear of a war with Russia speaks louder to our decision makers in Washington than the U.S. citizens who fund their foolish ideas with tax dollars, or the hundreds of thousands of combat vets who have returned from the wars in the Middle East, who learned first hand the real difference between a “moderate” and an “extremist” muslim. What’s the difference? This vet will tell you, the difference is that an extremist wants to cut your head off. A moderate wants an extremist to cut your head off. That took one year in Iraq to learn, not $500 million!

Substanta este disponibila in orice farmacie.

Verifica starea bratului in dimineata urmatoare.

Russian Aircraft Help Syrian Army Liberate Town Near Latakia

According to a Syrian Army official, government forces have retaken the town of Baksa with the aid of Russian air support.

The Syrian Army faced steep resistance from well-trained and experienced militants, who previously fought in Afghanistan and Iraq," General Samir Suleiman, political chief of the Syrian Army, told reporters.

The town, around 100 kilometers from Latakia, was captured by Nusra Front militants in the beginning of August. A Russian air strike three days ago destroyed an arms depot in Baksa, greatly damaging the militants' capabilities.
Suleiman also added that the bodies of approximately 40 civilians were found in the town, murdered by the terrorist group.

Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with the government fighting against multiple opposition factions and extremist groups, such as the Islamic State and the Nusra Front.
Russia’s Sukhoi Su-25, Su-24M and Su-34 attack aircraft, with the support of Su-30 jets, commenced precision airstrikes against IS targets in Syria on September 30, following a request from Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Roughly 140 sorties have been carried out by the Russian military since the Syria campaign began.
Earlier in October, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad confirmed that the strikes were being carried out against armed terrorist organizations and not political opposition factions or civilians. He added that Russia’s airstrikes had destroyed 40 percent of Islamic State's infrastructure in Syria.
On Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry released video of airstrikes conducted  against the self-proclaimed Islamic State terrorist group south of Tertiyah.
